The Engineering Momentum Pathway
Whenever you’re starting—right after high school graduation or after you've already started community college—our pathway supports your pursuit of an engineering career.
If you’re interested in solving problems and designing solutions to improve the world around you, you may have a future in engineering. Even if you haven’t previously focused on math or science, we invite you to learn more about Engineering Momentum.
And if you’re already interested in pursuing a degree in engineering after you've earned your high school diploma, consider applying for our Engineering Summer Bridge and/or applying to the STEM Core program at one of the partner community colleges.

After you graduate high school or get your GED, consider getting paid to participate in our Summer Bridge program, an optional accelerator designed to propel you to an engineering degree, offering courses that strengthen your math and science skills while introducing you to college-level engineering concepts.
This 4-week program pays students a $1500 stipend and is designed to ease the transition through academic preparation, mentorship from faculty and peers, and project-based learning.

STEM Core at Denver-Metro Community Colleges
STEM Core is offered at any Engineering Momentum partner community college and provides transfer support to a 4-year university to pursue a B.S. in Engineering, often at CU Boulder or CU Denver.
The multi-year program features wrap-around support, an accelerated mathematics program, student cohort networking, community college to university transfer support, opportunities to apply for paid internships, and professional development assistance.
